Maybe some got a little frustrated after two years of waiting that the country’s most popular buffet will come to Iloilo. Some got really impatient and even thought that this luxury buffet will never be a part of the list of restaurants in Iloilo.
But I guess, some things are just worth the wait and Vikings Luxury Buffet is one of them. Yes, Iloilo can now eat like a Viking!
Southpoint’s Star Venue
Vikings Iloilo is located in the 2nd floor of SM City Iloilo, Southpoint. As one of the newest favorite hangout in Iloilo, Southpoint is now officially home to one of the sought-after restaurants in Iloilo along with well-loved dining venue like Mrs. Wharton .
The open space layout is perfect to condition your mind before you attack the buffet spread at Vikings. And as one of the newest structures in the city, Southpoint complements well with Viking’s own interior and theme.
Rustic theme
No big Viking ships inside or Viking hats in every corner. That can be gaudy and too much, don’t you think? Instead, Vikings is not just splurging on food options but in terms of the decor and interior, swerving diners away from the concept of buffet people as pure gluttons.
Vikings Iloilo has a rustic theme reminiscent of a rustic European train stations. Yeah, Vikings are more synonymous with ships and conquest, but the restaurant gives that elegant touch.
Space is brilliantly planned to give diners more movement as they scout and check out one buffet area to another.
They also have function/private dining areas for those who want some exclusivity.
