I love breakfast, even if it’s at 11am, simply because it means that my kids are both in school and I can pace a few hours in slow motion. The peace and quiet or the fact of temporarily setting back just to enjoy time, calms me down in the midst of my every hustle in life trying to be superwoman.
Breakfast at home, no doubt, is my favorite time of the day and that’s what I like about having breakfast at Mrs. Wharton. I have named it as one of the best restaurants in Iloilo specifically as breakfast spot in the city with its homey ambiance topped with the friendly smiles of its crew, giving each diner that positive aura to start the day.
Location wise, facing the fountain and green space of SM City Iloilo’s Southpoint, its shabby chic interiors, and pleasant crew – it’s a great place to reflect and enjoy your meal.
If you’re a night owl like me, brunch is ideal or breakfast past 10. Mrs. Wharton now offers all-time breakfast catering to different levels of hunger, whether you want an English breakfast or a simple pancake with bacon.
Complimentary coffee or hot chocolate awaits for diners until 12noon (Mrs. Wharton opens at 9am). My pancake and bacon.
Husband must be really hungry (we came at 11am).
Made with love and pride, they were served in less than 10 minutes, just enough for me to take photos and videos while the husband took some morning calls.
Just the two of us.
Come here with your loved one or friend and just unwind and catch up. If you are looking for a place to have your Monday breakfast meetings within your company’s budget, this is the place to choose.
A hectic day turned a relaxed yet productive day, thanks to a calm morning at Mrs. Wharton.
