One of my failures as a mother is my laziness when it comes to hosting birthday parties. It is simply tedious that I can feel my pelvic bones shatter into pieces. First birthdays are a must but succeeding parties, I bribe them with travels or a small family outing. I’m just glad my fellow parents ( my kids’ friends’ parents) understands and knows my personality.
For Liam’s birthday, we planned to spend it at Sheridan Boutique Resort, just outside the city of Iloilo. I’ve attended two events there and I love the tranquility of the resort. I’ve been longing to bring my family to Sheridan and hopefully, a staycation in the future.
After surprising him with this astonishing Spiderman cake from Tinapayan Bakeshop’s Special Cake ( he was teary-eyed) and Sunday mass, we head off to Oton.

Ayanna Garden Restaurant, Sheridan’s in-house restaurant accommodated us at the gazebo. Relaxed and a quick escape not just for the birthday boy but for all of us.

If you want to spend a day in Sheridan Boutique Resort with pool use and lunch or dinner, you can have for only Php500net/pax.
The infinity pool is a good “travel” spot without going too far. The whole property is very peaceful as well. Even it was a Sunday, you won’t feel overcrowded. The pool also has a little shade.
When the kids are done with the pool, the resort has a play area. Thus, this resort is truly a family-friendly resort in Iloilo.
Summer is not over yet, go to Sheridan for a quick dip, dining, or a weekend stay. Your family will surely have a great time.
