Some people like it to be utterly peaceful and calm without owning their own resort or beach house. Others want to skip those loud boom boxes or peddlers trying to sell “native” products as you lay dead on the sand or trying to enjoy your drink.
Experience such freedom at Antulang Beach Resort in Negros Oriental. It is the province’s pride but not really a secret. This little sanctuary for vacationgoers has been featured on various magazines and used as locations for various photo shoots.
If you ask someone if they have heard of Antulang Beach Resort, they will say that it is an upscale resort where celebrities propose to their lovey-dovey..are we talking about Juday-Ryan engagement here? Sorry Juday, I was there before you did. haha!
If you are staying in their plush accommodation like this one..you just can’t say no right?
I will feel like Cleopatra-Helen of Troy with this canopy bed..
What more if you have your wedding banquet at Antulang
The perfect place to set up your single friends. haha!
Beyond indulgence, I fell in love with the one I love in Antulang Beach Resort of its natural charm. Where I can frolic on its beach without staring at another guest’s bikini body with envy. I consider their beach as one of the best in the country for simple and frank reasons. I’m easy to please. Clean and secluded beach, that’s all.
Breathe deeply and enjoy the continuous views.
I once asked their staff as he served me with their delectable burger by the beach why this resort is named “Antulang”. And his simple response what that there are many flowering plant known as “antulang” in the area. It was my first time to hear of that plant. Negros is very close to Cebu ( where I came from) but it was alien to me. Turns out, “antulang” is the local/Cebuano word for the flower “gumamela“. Thanks to my Mom. And that explains why there is a pink gumamela on their website.
Here are more resort photos..
Special thanks to Ms. Monique Munroe of Antulang Beach Resort.
