With all honesty, Antulang Beach Resort is one of my favourite travel properties due to the memories I had with this luxury resort in Negros Oriental. When in Dumaguete, a trip to this private resort is a must and I am blessed to have brought my family including my parents to Antulang last Labor Day for a fun-filled family day at Antulang Beach Resort.
A resort synonymous with luxury, you can still enjoy a day tour. Antulang Beach Resort entrance fee is Php300 per person, Php200 is consumable. We arrived at Antulang just in time for lunch and we were ushered to their restaurant right after I finished filling up the guest information.
A fine place to dine al fresco.
A lot of changes and improvements for this beach resort yet it still has that private appeal for guests to unwind and relax. I feel lucky to be in Antulang during its early years. In fact, this is my second Antulang Beach Resort review. Click here to read my other review of this property together with room photos.
Antulang Beach Resort: A Review
While waiting for our food which came faster than I expected, my kids and husband went straight to the pool while my parents just relaxed. Yeah, my dad was looking for a hammock. The breeze and panoramic views of the sea will lure you to have a siesta.
I took the chance to roam a little bit and capture some Antulang Beach Resort photos to share with you. Here are some of them.
This is their very inviting infinity pool..
Another pool area, this was not built yet during my last visit.
My parents later joined me and we did photo op while identifying islands we saw. Antulang has a view of Apo Island and on clear days, Zamboanga can be seen.
At my back is the resort’s yacht used for tours and cruises – activities you must sign up when you book your nights at Antulang Beach Resort.
The views of the sea, I think is one of the best things that this resort has to offer.
Not long after, our lunch was served. I love our cozy spot under the canopy of trees.
My father has the most discriminating taste when it comes to dining. A very frank food critic and I was surprised how impressed he was with the food. He loves the kinilaw the most, he said it was prepared “Bisaya style”. I don’t know what that means but food was sumptuous using fresh ingredients as what we have sampled from the vegetable dishes we had.
My kids as expected, wanted to skip lunch and after dining, we searched for their beach. The beach my husband and I used to “own”. Going there is safe even with my very active 3 year-old. And just like before, it is not a long sandy beach but it is secluded and CLEAN.
My mom ala Dyesebel 😉
There were some seaweeds and I took it as an opportunity to tell my kids that those are fish food. The waters of Antulang is teeming with marine life as seen with the number of fishing boats just across us.
We were supposed to be rinsing but my kids still want to swim in the pool. Liam’s tactic to let him go back to the pool. Sorry, he picked the flower where the resort got its name.
Gave the boys, 10 more minutes before rinsing off to go back to Dumaguete before it gets dark. Then, I let this kid roam to “say goodbye” before leaving. I love how the management kept it more natural, we saw different birds, even some nests among the trees.
It was a beautiful family day that I’m sure my parents will remember. Antulang Beach Resort has been famous as a romantic getaway and as a wedding destination but as I have shared here, it is also a great place for family travel.
Thank you Antulang Beach Resort! Till next time!
