Vocals for Infinity

We all love “old school” music and I personally retreat to classical songs that I grew up with when all I hear are tunes that can cause cardiac arrest.  I love anything from the 70s-80s with a dash of 50s and 60s. Obviously they all came from own father who loves giving all his might singing vocals from Scorpions to Chicago and then shifts to Louise Armstrong on Sundays. It was real music not just for me but to the rest of our gang.

My dad once said that your voice will never age. You will sound more likely the same when you grow old ( well maybe if you really take care of it). I think my dad is right. One man struck me. He can belt it out after how many decades. The man I’m talking about is John Farnham.

Check out his live performances ( I love live and acoustic versions) of “Please Don’t Ask Me”. His vocal prowess perfectly suits the deep emotion of the song written by one of the industry’s best songwriters, Graeham Goble.

Here in 1978(?). Don’t you find these rugged looking long-haired men sexy? haha

Then after 16 years. I love the soothing strings and his intense emotion. Still wearing his long wavy mane.Go John!

Is there any duet that can at par to this performance? Love the last part. He looks like Paul McCartney here.

One of his latest performances ( as  deep as I can dig from YouTube). His voice is really eternal. Even at 60.

What do you think guys?

P.S. Have you noticed that he is wearing his wedding ring all the time? Lovely!
