PEMF Therapy

Pulsed electromagnetic field therapy (PEMFT or PEMF therapy) employs electromagnetic fields to treat non-union injuries and stress. The FDA had approved many such stimulation devices by 2007, one of which is the PEMF mat.

The FDA issued a notice to a manufacturer in 2013 for marketing the tool for unapproved applications such as cerebral palsy and spinal cord injury.
