SM Seaside: First Mall to Receive the Safety Seal from Cebu City LGU

SM Seaside City Cebu becomes the first mall in Cebu City to receive the Safety Seal from the Department of Interior & Local Government and Emergency Operations Center – Cebu City.

DILG Cebu City Director Atty. Ian Kenneth Lucero and Atty. Jared Limquiaco, head of the Business Permit 7 Licensing Office in Cebu City, together with Cebu City councilor Joel Garganera, deputy chief implementer of the Emergency Operations Center, gave the Safety Seal to the mall management represented by SM Seaside City Cebu Regional Operations Manager Anton del Prado.

The Safety Seal Certification is a voluntary certification scheme that affirms that an establishment is compliant with the minimum public health standards set by the government.SM Seaside City Cebu uses the Trace Together, a nationwide end-to-end contact tracing solution that is compliant with government and data privacy guidelines. The Safety Sealis being given by the Department of Interior and Local Government (DILG), Department of Health (DOH), Department of Trade and Industry (DTI), Department of Tourism (DOT), and the Department of Labor and Employment (DOLE). The seal shall then be displayed on strategic spots at all entrance points according to prescribed dimensions and can be obtained at no cost to the establishment.
