The Thomases in Roxas City

Pardon me for my far-out irregular blogging – I’m extremely busy beyond words juggling roles as a mother, wife and as a poor freelance writer ( I always vent this out here). I bet you went on a trip for last week’s long holiday and for us, we went to Roxas City.

This time we went with my sister’s own brood ( her hubby as her eldest. haha). People, meet the Thomases. This post is all about them ( with consent but w/o payment). Tim, Alexis ( my sister), Nancy and our little girl Olivia. My BIL is manly enough to pose inside this big shell. haha!

Mutya..:)

Of course, sister went gaga over seafood but we had fun in the beach. Sorry I can’t share a good photo of our meal. They were all gone before we could take a click.

Fancy Nancy enjoying her swim with her own little island from afar. This beach is very safe for kids.

Soothing vanilla-flavored Olivia by the beach. My little darling.

Roxas’ baybay is filled with seashells. Never seen like it. Here she is having fun picking cone-shaped shells.

The next day, we went to the neighboring town of Pan-ay with its heritage church.

Though it is customary, we skipped climbing the belltower for obvious reasons. But we had some fun exploring the church.

This is one good shot of Nancy on our way back to the city. 🙂

Saying hi to President Roxas ( this city is named after him). Sorry I cut your head Sir.

Before driving back home, we had lunch at RML Manokan and Seafood Restaurant ( free marketing) overlooking Nancy’s favorite island. This time I left Oliva alone ( no more photos please Tita Val!)

It was fun yet a little chaotic ( in a cute way). Picture out two families cramping in a small car, controlling 2 kids. and trying to put 2 babies to sleep. We survived the trip and I know we will remember that getaway.

Another joyous family trip!
