Providing more shopping and dining venues for its shoppers and patrons, SM City Iloilo finally opened its latest mall expansion today. The mall first opened in 1999 and prior to the expansion, there were 200 existing leased units. The expansion produced four more floors with 165 units, making the current SM City Iloilo the largest mall in Western Visayas, housing 365 units.
The event started with the Holy Mass and the blessing of the mall expansion.

By December 1st, 80% of the shops will open in time for our Christmas shopping and bonding. Walking around, you will notice that the spaces are mostly occupied by restaurants both local and international, reflecting the dining culture of the Ilonggos.

What to expect? On top of the restaurants, more boutiques and specialty stores are coming. Ilonggos are now buzzing whether international fashion names like Uniqlo, Forever21, and H &M will find their local homes at SM City Iloilo. One thing is for sure, this Php1.3B expansion by SM Prime Holdings offers the best experience when it comes entertainment, lifestyle, and shopping to SM’s beloved shoppers.
