Countries with four seasons are now enjoying springtime. For me, spring means sakura or cherry blossoms..dainty darlings!
but I live in a tropical country when summer or the rest of the year means….beach!!!
School vacations and long holidays like Holy Week give us time to squeeze in some beach getaways. I am looking forward to spend some beach time in Negros Oriental myself and for me to look for inspiring feature stories for my job as a freelance writer.
For this post, I will be sharing some of my favorite beaches. I am a travel writer but there are still many local destinations that I wish to visit someday. For now, here are some of my favorite spots that I also wish that you can visit too!
Dakak. Zamboanga del Norte. I love Dakak. It has the modern facilities of Shangri-la, the natural charm of Boracay and the solitude of Camiguin.
Guimaras Island.Nicknamed as “poor man’s Boracay” but I beg to disagree. A place where you can jive with fireflies at night. Lovely place.
Antulang Resort, Negros Oriental. Named after the Gumamela flower which is called Antulang in Cebuano. This resort is very special to us with fond memories. We are hoping to spend our Holy Week here.
White Island, Camiguin. Feel like being lost and a survivor with the stunning view of mainland Camiguin Island.
Boracay. Of course, Philippine beaches wouldn’t be complete without mentioning this island paradise. Love it or hate it, it is our pride.
I wish to visit Zambales. Camsur and Siargao someday. How about you? What are your favorite beaches?
