O Hotel in Bacolod City

night

I have been to Bacolod City many times and we often stay at the same hotel. Exactly a week ago, I was in Bacolod for a different purpose – to go out and work for a magazine feature. So I also thought, why not stay at a different hotel this time? I want to give my readers more choices on where to stay in Bacolod. So here is one hotel in Bacolod, I can confidently recommend.

I learned about O Hotel when I checked for Bacolod Hotels with outstanding reviews from previous guests. O Hotel is awarded and recognized by TripAdvisor; currently the #1 hotel in Bacolod. You know what site this is right? No need to write further.

O Hotel is located at Sebastian Street, just one turn from Lacson Street, Bacolod’s popular strip. It is conveniently located in the city with establishments nearby, an ATM machine is just beside it, making this properties one of top hotels in Bacolod.

Rooms

O Hotel has a total of 53 rooms and suites. I stayed at one of their single standard rooms. Nothing fancy. Typical room amenities like hot and cold shower, safety deposit box, cable TV and wi-fi, but it still pleased me. With this type of rooms, you just need to have it clean, enough space and comfy sheets. For their standard room, they already have a fridge and coffee utilities. Plus, a very stable wi-fi connection. I’ m all good with this hotel in Bacolod.

Today’s traveler from business to leisure demands to have a wi-fi connection in their rooms. My husband was very happy with O Hotel’s wi-fi speed; his hotel in Bacolod had a fluctuating connection.

My actual room. Sorry, I took this photo when I was about to check-out. No fancy photos.

Food

O Hotel is known for their good food and I was really longing to taste their food. They offer a wide array of dishes but I didn’t stay at the hotel for lunch and dinner – I was out to work. Breakfast was tempting, buffet for 225Php.

I resisted the buffet and ordered a la carte. I love their coffee! One of the best.  I had 3 refills while waiting for my guide for another day of work. And that’s for only 42Php!

What a pancake!

Service

Check-in was quick and they are no hassle-type of hotel. O Hotel understands that you just need a nice place to sleep and rest. Staff are very pleasant and they are quick to cater to your needs. I hate calling waiter’s attention during meals so I was glad for O Hotel staff’s efficiency.

I love that the hotel is quite too. Staff are discreet and well-mannered. O Hotel has that professional atmosphere.
