My Mom Loves Japan

I said in my previous entry that my next post will still be about Japan. So bear with me. haha. Actually I wanted to write a different topic – a local destination but I said that I will still have Japan. So I, a freelance writer will keep her promise.

If you have read my previous posts, I mentioned that my sister was planning to go home with Japan’s current situation of radiation threats. But I don’t think they will push the plan, if they will leave they have to leave for good. As what she said, “its hard to leave a country we have called home”..sigh. I hate it! I miss Japan again!!! grgr!

To share something for you guys, I’m posting mom’s photos here. She has been to Japan twice and will be flying again this June. She is a typical tourist..loves taking souviner photos. haha. I got this from here FB account ( yes, she’s 55 but still techie.haha).

My mom’s first trip to Japan. This is Tokyo Tower, looks like the Eiffel Tower and is one of the city’s landmarks. Nearby is MTV Japan. I was trying my luck to be discovered when we were there. haha.

I was green with envy when I saw this. My sister never showed me temples in Tokyo but shopping and foodie districts.:)

Mama with her dainty sakuras. Its spring time now in Japan but no sakuras yet. I think she is cold here. haha!

If you want to have a glimpse of Japan’s cultural past without going to Kyoto, come to KAMAKURA. It’s just outside Yokohama City. Mama with the Daibutsu ( Great Buddha).

Still in Kamakura. Lovely Japanese garden. Oh, my mother is wearing the scarf she stole from me. wink!

Lastly, Japan is a “healthy” destination. My mother is diabetic but in Japan, she can eat almost anything and drink iced tea ( a big no in Pinas). So here she is enjoying her food after a nice tour around Kamakura. Again, that’s my scarf. Do you smell animosity here? haha

I still have to inform my mother about this post. I think she wouldn’t mind. She supports my freelance writer career 100%.

Till next time guys! Hope this will kick your lazy Monday! 🙂
