Tagaytay will always rescue those living in the city when looking for a quick getaway without going too far. Cooler weather and fresh air – that’s all an urban dweller needs right?
As your travel writer is from the Visayas, it was my first time to be in Tagaytay. A big similarity to Busay, Cebu. Close to the city. Mountain area. Tagaytay is more developed of course. From vacation homes and cabins to hotels, Tagaytay’s landscape has been shaped with these structures.
After a long trip from northern Luzon, we arrived in Tagaytay at dusk. Too tired to take some nightshot photos of its facade but my first reaction was how it looked similar to the clubhouse of Santa Barbara Golf Course and Country Club.
Our hotel in Tagaytay – Taal Vista Hotel with 261 rooms. This is not their most superior room. We are not VIPs. hehe
It would have been nice to start our day dining here but we woke up late. Too hot to dine al fresco
After eating 2 kilos of breakfast. Hahaha!
From its historical importance as Taal Vista was built in 1937, the unobstructed view of Taal Volcano is one of its best assets, making it one of the best hotels in Tagaytay.
Hello Taal Volcano! Finally, I saw Taal, “the smallest active volcano in the world” as I used to memorize in grade school.
Because I am a full time mother and part-time freelance writer, I require space when we travel. Lots of space. That’s my son, rolling. I promised him he can roll over and not to run around inside the restaurant.
My personal favorite. Impressive. How I wish all historical structures should have this. I learned that Tagaytay is within Cavite and not Batangas! Gosh! Shoot me please! haha!
Till next time Taal Vista. Wish to spend longer with my youngest son. Your freelance travel writer is not affiliated with Taal Vista Hotel, for more inquiries and rates, visit www.taalvistahotel.com
