Finally! Liam’s Own School Field Trip

All parents especially moms all look forward to their child’s field trip, specifically the first field trip. My second child, Liam just had his but it was not his first to join. I was 6 months pregnant with Liam when his kuya, Akira, had his first field trip.

Being pregnant, I shouldn’t have but I wanted to be there. It was surreal for me, a trip to memory lane, remembering my own excursion with Gun-ob Day Care Center in Cebu – Taoist Temple and Cebu Zoo.

On Aki’s second year, Liam also tagged along, as a nine-month old baby.

The night before Liam’s field trip, we viewed photos from Aki’s field trip and had a few laughs. Look at this little bugger. Taken at Fish World in Tigbauan ( Iloilo).

And finally, Liam had his moment. I was more excited than he was.  You see, my kids go to the same toddler school in Iloilo. First stop was the Fire Station ( we were uber late..shshsh!!) and we went to Plaza Libertad to wait for the UP bus. Kids bonded with this train..

Second stop was the Science Centrum in La Paz. A couple of exhibitions, playing with his shadows, blowing bubbles and free play.

We had a mini-road trip from the city to an inland resort where we had our lunch. Liam was a good boy during our trip but he didn’t like our baon because everyone had Jollibee. Poor thing. His mood changed when we started exploring the place.  We love this hanging bridge.

Thank you Tito Dada ( Liam’s new bff) for helping Liam cross the hanging bridge..

From the inland resort, we went to a pottery in Pavia. Our favorite stop throughout the field trip.

Congratulations to the school and Liam’s teachers for a job well done. Another milestone not just for Liam but for me. Till the next field trip for the best toddler school in Iloilo!

When it comes to school field trips, moms are having more fun than the kids…isn’t it?
