I like L’Fisher. Why? Because it has a certain charm, an easy going yet efficient atmosphere. It’s a wonderful example of the Filipino talent for muddling through and pretending everything is great (or being a in a state of denial?) when really things are a bit shabby. It exudes a certain grandeur (possibly undeserved) and you can’t help but feel this (at least for a while) when you walk through the door. The reception staff all behave as if the Hotel is the greatest thing, that they are members of an exceptional establishment and proud of it. We have to remember that this is The Philippines, and, if you compare L’Fisher to most premises along Lacson street it IS exceptional. So it’s all a question of what you’re used to.

Does the hotel provides a complimentary airport-hotel-airport transfer? If not, then how much is the taxi from airport to the hotel? Thanks.
