Aki’s Graduation Day

How fast time can be? Can you imagine it is already April? Summer! But apparently we will be having  a rainy kind of summer this year. Unlike other countries, Philippine school year ends in March with graduation rites, soirees here and there.

On my part, my youngest brother just graduated from San Agustin University ( BA Psychology) while my preschooler graduated from his day care. Akira went to UP Balay Balay Child-Minding Center and I only have good words about his school. How he turned into a socially graceful and holistic child made me more proud to be an Iskolar ng Bayan. No regrets sending him to UP while I’m focused working as a freelance writer.

He had his graduation 2 days ago and he had the same award as last year’s “Most Charming”. haha! They don’t have academic awards due to the type of program they have at Balay Balay. If you are curious/interested, I will be blogging it next time.

But for now, let me share some of the scenes from my little one’s special day. Yeah, I’m a proud mother/freelance writer 🙂

Graduation Song and Theme: ” Reach for the Star”

I always tell my husband how fast our little boy has become. He was just a fragile baby and now like a single wink of an eye, he is working towards independence.

I don’t know what the future has for my child. I just hope and pray like any parent that they will be on the right track in any path he would be choosing. But for now, I treasure every moment of his childhood.

Till then!Thanks for reading!
